Wood Signage Materials
SouthWood is a large manufacturer of wood signs, typically maintaining thousands of board feet of lumber in stock. Exterior uses typically involve redwood or western red cedar, while interior applications might include hardwoods such as oak, cherry, walnut, and mahogany. Wood is most commonly used in sandblasted, routed and carved signs. Many combinations of textures and finishes can be applied to achieve hundreds of different end results, from bleached out and weathered to fine, hand rubbed finishes as on furniture.
