Since long before the aging of the “baby boomers” spiked up the demand for seniors housing, SouthWood has served this market. As an extension of our vast experience in the multi-family (apartment) industry, we know the needs of seniors, including the effects of aging upon visual and cognitive abilities.
Our work in this market includes not only continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), but also smaller, freestanding properties offering a limited range of care. We’ve helped create and implement signage branding campaigns to companies with hundreds of facilities nationwide, and we’ve created sign solutions for renovated and repositioned properties as well as newly constructed ones.
Typical signage systems are comprised of facility identification signs, vehicular parking and directional signs, and an assortment of interior signs to guide people to, and then identify, all rooms. With a wide variety of materials and manufacturing processes available to our clients, SouthWood can create solutions to fit any design scheme and almost any budget.
